Mohamed Ali Jinnah did his best last week to kill the British long-term plan for Indian independence. When Viceroy Lord Wavell refused to postpone convocation of the Constituent Assembly scheduled for Dec. 9, Jinnah announced that Moslem League delegates would not attend.
