Newell has given up coaching the freshman crew temporarily, and is rowing No. 7 in the '94 boat in the place of Atwood. The latter has been moved to No. 3, and Carter to No. 2. The crew has benefitted by the change, although the time is still ragged and the form, generally, is poor. The spacing is good and the men get a fine drive with the legs.
