Vaguely aware of high HIV/AIDS rates on the African continent, I was overwhelmed as Aubourg??€™s presentation rolled through the statistics that have become increasingly familiar to me, yet have never lost their sting as a reminder of the level of human catastrophe which faces us at the dawn of the 21st century.
