Arrangement for the National Matches have now been completed, according to Lt. Col. William C. Harlec, of the U. S. M. C., executive officer of the matches for 1919. They will be held this year during the months of July and August at the Navy Rifle Range, Caldwell, N. J., jointly by the War and Navy Departments. Major Miller entered the service as a private in February, 1917, and was commissioned as Captan of Cavalry from the first Officers' Training Camp in August of that year. He was transferred as captain of Field Artillery in October, 1917, and served with the 89th Division.
