Varsity two-miler Walt Hewlett was the first collegian and only the sixth American across the finish line in yesterday's 26-mile BAA Marathon. Nearly 400 runners entered the race. Hewlett's time of 2:32:44, only 12:45 off the winning pace of Belgium's Aurele Van den Driessche, was the best finish ever by a Harvard runner in the 63-year-old Patriots' Day classic...
