Despite such spirited eruptions, Jobs was still uncertain, displaced, curious. He graduated, dropped acid for the first time ("All of a sudden the wheatfield was playing Bach") and lived with his first serious girlfriend in a small wooden house along the Santa Cruz Mountains.
