The kick was partially blocked, Howe catching it on the 47-yard line and running back 13-yards to the 34-yard line before he was tackled. Coy tried an onside kick which went to Minot, who signalled for a fair catch but fumbled, Corbett recovering the ball on his own 9-yard line.
