Unless D. P. Starr '08 is moved back to quarterback, it will be difficult to find a good substitute for M. L. Newhall '08, who will undoubtedly be first choice. G. S. Taylor '08, who was injured last year, is a promising candidate, and J. W. Simons '09, E. P. Currier '09, F. Cutting '09, T. H. Adams '09, S. Galatti '10, and D. Crocker '10 may show up well. YALE CREW QUARTERS, GALES FERRY, CT., June 19, 1907.--The Yale crews had light work again today. In the morning the two eights rowed downstream about two miles and back in long stretches, and the four-oar crew had a race for about a mile, defeating the freshmen nearly a length. In the afternoon all the crews went out later than usual.
