After two months of practice under the direction of Gammons, the Brown baseball squad has shown marked improvement. The outlook, while not so bright as in some years, is not at all discouraging. The team lost five men by graduation,--Tobey, Bacon, Barry, Detmers, and Saunders. But there is an abundance of new material, especially from the freshman class, to fill these vacancies.
