Prisoners are fed at six and six. The morning meal consists of three cold biscuits. The whites are served first, (theirs may be warm--I don't know), a strip of "streak-o'-lean" bacon, and a tablespoon of cane syrup. Supper is one slab of cornbread (cold again), rice, and red beans.
