Charles ("Pretty Boy") Floyd, 30, Oklahoma badman and bank robber. Born in Georgia, raised in the Ozarks, Floyd in 1925 began a model training for crime: five years in the Missouri Penitentiary for highway robbery. Later he was largely responsible for the fact that Oklahoma country banks at that time paid the highest robbery insurance rate in the country.
