...prospects for a strong nine at Dartmouth are excellent. The candidates practice daily in the new cage and a good deal of excellent material has been developed. Of last year's nine only four men are left, Williams, '90, shortstop; Baehr, '90, pitcher; Ranney, M. S., and Jones, '90, catchers. For the other positions there is no lack of candidates, and besides Baehr, Viau and Woodcock, '91, and Kendall, '89, are trying for pitcher's position.
