...much to be regretted that the article in the last issue of the Advocate regarding the management of Memorial partook so much of the nature of a violent personal attack upon the steward. Whatever may be said of Mr. Balch in his capacity as steward, he is, so far as we know, a perfectly honorable man, and therefore incapable of wittingly serving to boarders at Memorial meat which was tainted or unfit to eat.
