Yesterday evening the freshman class mustered in front of Beck, and preceded by a band of twenty pieces marched down Harvard street to the yard, where a pyrotechnic display of much variety and substance took place amid the vociferous cheering of the '89 enthusiasts. ...concert which the Brass Band gave in front of Matthews last night was very successful. The Glee Club did not sing on account of the coldness of the evening. Long before the hour for commencing, the choice seats along the balcony were occupied by the allpervading mucker.
