...entertaining was the account of this Promenade, that we have scarce space enough left to do justice to the "Banger Rush," described on the next page. The "Banger Rush" was caused by the fact that "although it was twelve days before the customary time for Freshmen canes to be seen on the street, several members of '79 swung out last Wednesday with the offensive article of furniture."
