Instead of the usual fall scratch races there will be a regular barge race between the upper-class crews, on Oct. 18. The race will be rowed on Back Bay from the well-known yellow house to the Union boat-house. The senior crew will begin work tomorrow; the juniors and sophomores as soon as they have got enough men.
