...Crimson entered the top of the ninth inning of yesterday’s Beanpot opener trailing the Minutemen 6-4, with UMass closer Scott Ratliff on the mound. Although Ratliff entered the game with a 1.69 ERA, each of the first three hitters in Harvard’s lineup reached base, bringing the cleanup hitter to the plate.
