Lights & Inner Tubes. But try to catch one. No fish has a greater ability to bewilder, bedevil, confuse and confound a fisherman, and none, pound for pound, fights harder. Because it inhabits exposed tidal flats, the bonefish is a nervous wreck-always on the lookout for enemies, spooking at the shadow of a bird overhead, fleeing in panic from the sound of a beer can being opened. Ever so stealthily, the bonefisherman tiptoes across the flats, taking care not to step on sting rays, his freshly baited hook (live shrimp is tasty) all ready, his eyes peeled for a waving...

...file gave one a distinct feeling that they were by no means bigots, embittered cynics, or oldsters pompous before their time. (The YAF leadership and its adult advisors have taken great pains to eliminate that resist fringe which tries to attach itself to conservative groups, much as Communists bedevil liberal organizations.) A scholar who would be concerned about U.S. educational standards if Russia were inhabited solely by musk oxen, Gould does not hesitate to point with alarm at the Red satellites long after the furor...

...Fast, Too Soon. The failure was due to one of those technical minutiae that bedevil rocketeers. The Jupiter's reliable first stage had been modified for the occasion by elongating its tanks to give it more fuel capacity. This required a change in the complicated valve that controls the mixture of kerosene and liquid oxygen. Apparently the rejiggered valve did not work quite right. Either the kerosene or lox was used up too fast, and the flame went out 3.7 seconds sooner than it should have. The toolow boost of the first stage (plus a small aiming error) kept...
