Though it is in actuality a small price hike, it is in many ways the straw that breaks the proverbial student’s back. I can buy a 30-rack of Pabst Blue Ribbon for $14 at University Wine, and a 30 of Busch for $16. Psychologically, saving five-to-seven dollars per 30 is worth the walk up Massachusetts Avenue.
