...than usual and four touchdowns were scored. The playing was very crude, with ragged interference and considerable fumbling. Quicker starting, however, was noticeable and the backs kept their feet better while advancing the ball. Three of the touchdowns were made on straight rushing and one on a kick blocked behind the second team's goal line. The longest run was made by Coburn who secured the ball on a quarterback kick at the center of the field and reached the 10 yard line before he was caught by Trott. ...Harvard on the 33 yard line. Harvard then advanced straight down the field and, principally by means of fairly good end runs by Knowles, who replaced Kernan, arrived within a few inches of West Point's goal. The ball was lost on downs, however, but the punt from behind the goal was blocked and though there was a question, owing to interference by the spectators, as to whether a touchdown or a safety should be counted for Harvard, the latter score was finally agreed upon and the game ended a few minutes afterward...

After the next kick-off several trick plays were tackled for a loss and Harvard finally secured the ball on a punt on Wesleyan's 40 yard line. Kernan then went around right end behind good interference for the fourth touchdown. Barnard kicked goal. Harvard, 24; Wesleyan, 0. The last touchdown...
