...Helen Choate Bell Prize for merit in the field of American Literature has this year been increased to $300 through a number of special subscriptions recently received. This prize, founded by friends of Mrs. Helen Choate Bell, who died in 1918, to commemorate her connection with American Literature, is open to any student in the University or in Radcliffe College.
