Wells, Calvin Coolidge, Thomas Beer, polar expeditions, founding a night club, interviewing celebrities, solving crimes, stabilizing francs. His method of reductio ad imbecillum is to expound a subject in its simplest terms, putting caricaturist's emphasis on one or two superficial details.
