LONDON: What's in a name? If the name is Rolls-Royce, $66 million -- and that's cheap. Like two Dobermans at a single slab of steak, German automakers BMW and Volkswagen AG have completed the tearing apart of the revered luxury car line: Volkswagen gets Bentley, and BMW gets Rolls-Royce -- or at least the name Rolls-Royce. Under the deal (finalized after Volkswagen tried and failed to acquire the name itself), BMW will build its own factory by 2002 to produce the cars. ...thing we all have in common is that none of us will be taking these tests at Harvard. That's right, well before eight o'clock in the morning we'll be heading off to other local colleges-UMass Boston, Northeastern and Bentley, among others-to take these tests. Why should a college sending so many of its seniors to graduate school force its students into the fall chill to take tests that are often required for admission? Is there no suitable location on campus that isn't booked on Saturday mornings? Are there more prospective lawyers in Northeastern...
