...with the murder of comedian Bill Cosby's only son, who was shot on a dark stretch near a Los Angeles highway while trying to change a flat tire. More ominous yet is a transaction reported last December in the Houston Chronicle. Days after the Murray-O'Hairs disappeared, a real estate agent named Mark Sparrow, responding to a newspaper ad, paid a man he met at a bar $15,000 for a 1988 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL.
