...this stag universe, Diesel is the alpha and the omega male. One scene has him dangling a suspect from the high window of a tenement, then letting him go. Diesel fans know that if you let him into your apartment, you'd better clear the knickknacks off your freestanding shelving, because he's bound to throw somebody into it. Anybody else does this, you'd say he has anger issues - or, considering his character's surname, Toretto's syndrome. But Diesel doesn't get mad; he stays cooler than cool. The guy's an icebox...
...hilarious and smart and extreme; you could probably do a psychoanalysis term paper on the male sexual psyche going on there. And the best thing about that movie is that these are the things that teenagers think about. Some of those who were raised a little better might not have said it, but these thoughts are there for every teenage male. That said, I honestly didn't see myself making a mark in teen comedies. ...same principle holds true for the iPhone. Samsung and Blackberry (RIMM) make products that do most of the same things, and, in some cases are better smart phones. A Blackberry runs rings around an iPhone as a communications device. But, people do not take out their Samsung Instinct smart phones and put them on a table so that others know what they are carrying. iPhone owners may be obnoxious, but at least they paid for the privilege.
