Teams A and B of the University hockey squad had a spirited 20-minute scrimmage at the Arena yesterday afternoon which resulted in a 3 to 3 tie although team A had slightly the better of the contest. The squad showed the best team play of the season and their shooting and passing was good; but they lacked the "jump" so essential on as small a surface as that of the St. Nicholas rink in New York. The stick-work must still improve, but the team-work of the men is gradually becoming better and the passing and shooting very much more accurate than last week.
