Professor Samuel Cahan of the Syracuse department of journalism takes occasion to bewail the unrestrained policies of college dailies in a special feature article appearing in the Daily Orange of the New York institution, pointing out that "youngsters (on college newspapers) act impulsively and are sometimes carried away by exhuberance without bothering to dip into facts" in their treatment of news.
