Usage:

After having drained my lifeblood into a series of final papers which did their job but brought little joy into the world, I am left with only bile. I hate having to smash my big Idea to pieces and then classify and reassemble the parts, to turn each thought into a topic sentence or its subsidiary, and to organize them in an arbitrary linear structure which undercuts the extent of their coherence. ...feel it percolating in your gut as the guy behind the deli counter serves someone who has waited less time than you. It rises to form a knot of bile as you scamper after a bus that left 10 seconds too soon. ...that disgust us, or for one minute ask them to forgo their constitutional—and moral—right to express those opinions, however loathsome. But for our own sake, we must start lancing the lies. For it is only through being alert to the ignorant and bigoted bile currently being spewed out by all sorts of figures, from Senator Lott to our fellow Harvard undergraduates, that we can ensure the Ghosts of America Past don’t become the Demons of America Future...

...that political leaders are allowed to trade in this same currency, aided and abetted by the media, albeit in more subtle ways than al Qaeda or Hamas? How is it that an independent voice like Noam Chomsky is denied a platform in his own country, whilst poisonous bile is allowed to demean whole cultures and peoples by default...
