William Stevens Perry, Protestant Episcopal Bishop of the Diocese of Iowa, died of paralysis at his home in Dubuque, Iowa, on Friday. Bishop Perry was born in Providence, R. I., on January 22, 1832. He graduated from Harvard in 1854 and, after completing his theological studies, was ordained a deacon in 1857 and a priest, in Boston, the following year.
