Judge Lance Ito formally proposed an electronic media blackout of the O.J. Simpson trial today. The no-nonsense jurist said that media companies had to give him reasons why he should not issue an order to that effect in a hearing on November 7. Ito has been angry at television reporters since a KNBC-TV report last week that linked Nicole Simpson's blood to that found on O.J.'s socks.
