It's out of this world!" Money traders worry quite as much as any finance minister about what the drop in the world's central trading currency is doing to the global structure...
They follow this parody with a more serious punk tune, "Don't Blame It on Love," using some fine guitar and percussion work to drive the song along. Caleb Quaye's strong lead guitar dominates both these cuts, which comically oppose John Oates' "Serious Music," a conventional rocker that ponders the durability of pop music. The song uses some creative instrumental bridges playing off a "Rhapsody in Blue" theme...
...Mayor Maurice Ferré, a Puerto Rican, and City Commissioner Manolo Reboso, a Cuban. Cubans have no representatives in the Florida legislature or in the U.S. Congress. Latins hold only 20% of the city government jobs in Miami and only 4.9% of the top bureaucratic posts. Much of the blame for that rests with the Cubans: only 47% of them are American citizens. Many still see themselves, apparently, as anti-Communist absentees from their island home...
