...three downs were soon called. Upton, Fearing and Lee each gained ground, aided by good blocking by Trafford. Lee ran again but was forced outside. The ball was passed to Fearing who fumbled it but Cumnock regained it. Lee advanced two yards followed by a short rush by Blanchard. Lee and Fearing then made several rushes and gained fifteen yards. Trafford then tried to kick but was downed. The ball soon went to Williams and Cox kicked but Trafford returned it. Williams then gained but little ground and soon lost the ball to Harvard.
