There evidently is some reason why the beech tree should be removed, as a second attempt has been made to blow it up. As its presence does not injure the appearance of the grounds, we cannot see why it should not be allowed to remain. If there is any just reason for its removal, those who wish it would do well to petition and state their reasons.
