YALE FIELD, NEW HAVEN, Nov. 24--Harvard met Yale this afternoon on Yale Field in the annual gridiron contest between the Crimson and the Blue. Fully an hour before the time set for the game, the crowd of 36,000 people had begun to arrived on the field.
