Professor E. C. Moore, Parkman professor of theology and chairman of the board of preachers to the University, will leave this afternoon for the Middle West, where he will visit several of the older colleges and universities in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. ...special meeting of the Board of Overseers held yesterday morning to take action upon the nomination by the Corporation of Professor Abbott Lawrence Lowell '77 as President of the University, his election was unanimously confirmed.
