Owing to the cold and generally unfavorable weather conditions the work of all the crews on the river has been somewhat limited during the past week. Although the University boat has been out every day, except Monday, when there was a snow-storm, it has generally been only for short distances. Tuesday a change was made in the boat. Newhall was moved to 7 from 2, and Fish, who rowed 7 last year in the Freshman crew, was tried at 2. Yesterday the men were given a short, brisk row to the Stillman Infirmary and back. It was extremely cold and a raw wind was blowing, but the work as a whole was satisfactory.
