This afternoon at 4.15 o'clock the University, second, and third crews will hold a race, starting at the bathing beach near the Cottage Farm Bridge and finishing in the basin opposite the Union Boat Club, a distance of somewhat over two miles. The race will be for the purpose of trying out the men under the stress of hard rowing, and it will be carefully watched by Coach Wray from the launch. Since February 23, the date of the first work on the water, all three crews have advanced rapidly.
