Cincinnati's fate lies with Don Newcombe who should have forgotten about the '56 world series by now. If Newk can come back and head an otherwise average pitching staff of Brooks Lawrence, Joe Nuxhall, Bob Purkey, and rookie Jim O'Toole, the Reds could be very hard to beat.
