Whether Bakri is closely linked to al-Qaeda or--as some think--is just a loudmouthed bombast, al Muhajiroun is real. Bakri claims his organization has offices in 21 countries, and it certainly has a presence in the U.S. Early in May, al Muhajiroun supporters held a demonstration to support Chechnya outside the Russian consulate in New York City.
