Al Jolson, 64, black-faced, mammy-shouting musicomedy star (Sinbad, Bombo, Big Boy), whose brassy voice in The Jazz Singer for Warner Brothers in 1927 gave talking pictures their first real start; of coronary occlusion; in San Francisco.
