According to Mr. Greene, this type of man was not intended to be included on the list. As an example he classed musicians, artists, or business men as practitioners, and not fundamental theorists and scientists. Harvard he said wished to boner only this latter class, and for this reason a degree was given to a great musical historian, no a musician, to a great fundamental economist, not a business...

Selectmen can easily assume an injured attitude; that is probably what they do best. But now they have overstepped all bounds in resorting to boner law. They are preventing a free-lance student from also being a free-spade artist. Another budding historian explained that...

Except for the foregoing fatal boner the game was one of the better ones that has been played on Soldiers Field this season and certainly one of the more interesting to watch. It was a nip and nick affair that left doubt as to the outcome to the very end. In the last of the ninth Harvard made a bid to snatch the game out of the fire but with the tieing and winning runs on the bases Balsley tightened up and got both Bassett and Des Roches on easy pop-ups. Here the squeeze play might have worked...
