My father had been a Navy man -- radio operator on the battleship Pennsylvania in World War I -- and he thought going to the Naval Academy was great. He said that when he was in prison camp in Viet Nam, one great source of strength was the Book of Job. Relating to Job, he could accept that life isn't fair. Many others couldn't and became bitter.
