BOTH SIDES IN THE BOSNIAN CONFLICT are fighting desperately for what they believe to be "their" homeland, and for freedom from perceived domination by the other side. Sadly, clashes of this nature seem to be increasingly common. The Serbs are especially apprehensive because they know the Muslims of the Balkans, along with those of the wider world, possess the most effective weapon of all in such conflicts--the demographic weapon.
