...Bill Clinton of sexual harassment was only Fox's second choice to compete on its show Celebrity Boxing. But aside from concerns that she might damage her reconstructed nose, Jones was only too willing to step in after Amy Fisher's parole officer forbade her to participate in the bout against TONYA HARDING. It would seem Harding and Jones haven't watched many professional boxing weigh-ins, where taunting is the norm. Instead, the two interacted warmly when they met before their slug fest. The March 13 bill will also pair Todd Bridges of Diff'rent Strokes against rapper Vanilla...

(She was introduced as "the only world-class athlete" of all six competitors, omitting the whole unpleasant knee-bashing business, but I'm sure Jones had her gloves inspected for horseshoes anyway.) The giggly Jones seemed to think the whole match was a big joke. Neither woman would disclose her weight because, you know, women who volunteer for Fox Celebrity Boxing...
Even before they arrive, the deployment of ?lite U.S. troops to Georgia is prompting some Chechen fighters to leave the Pankisi Gorge, Georgian officials claimed this week. However, just as swiftly, it has become evident that U.S. involvement has prompted another bout of shadowboxing between Georgia, Russia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, and Chechen rebels. So far, the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) remain unable to broker any kind of deal...
