...took place in Horticultural Hall, April 17, 18, and 19; but we are unwilling to allow such excellent performances to pass without more than casual mention. The opening play on Friday night was "The Laughing Hyena, "in which the characters could not have been more suitably cast. Messrs. Clark, Bowditch, Shaw, and Dumaresq were all that could be desired in their several parts. Then followed the somewhat ancient, but still interesting "Naiad Queen."
