The group played a compendium of works from this year's repertoire: Brahms' Variations on a Theme of Haydn, the first part of Stravinsky's Petrouchka, and the third and fourth movements of Brahms' Symphony Number 2 in D Major.
Among the major events at which the Glee Club plans to perform are the Brahms festival this spring and the Festival of American Men's Choirs, Chiu said.
"Brahms' requiem is such a beautiful piece of music and it's neat to see how well the music and the text fit together," Leung said.
Unlike some of his contemporaries, Brahms arranged his own text rather than adapting an existing one to his music.
