This is important as regards College affiliations, for although much of the most vocal Wallace support comes from the 45-member HYD branch here, there is absolutely no organic connection between the two organizations. Margolis himself feels that because HYD is a more militant outfit, it is less effective. Furthermore he feels that HYD support leans heavily toward socialism, while the Wallace committee is interested only in "progressive capitalism."
