Sirs : In connection with the mention of ex-Secretary of War Newton D. Baker as presidential timber, Mr. C. B. Bratton, Waco, Tex., writes (TiME, Letters, Dec. 5) : "No man that ever held a commission in the A. E. F. would vote for him." Mr. Bratton does not know all officers who were in Europe !
