...Sunday pleasures. For three years the Ministerial Association of Lincoln, Neb. has worked for a city ordinance prohibiting Sunday funerals. The Lincoln City Council unanimously approved an ordinance drafted by Methodist Rev. Walter Aitken, Baptist Rev. C. H. Walcott, and G. T. Slavery of the United Brethren. Lincoln ministers feel they are busy enough with Sunday services, baptisms, christenings, church-meetings, vespers, Sunday schools, Bible classes. The ordinance takes effect next week...
