Princeton lost the ball for holding and Harvard did the same on the next play. Harvard stood firm in the next two endeavors, and Princeton again punted to Brewer, who stood on Harvard's 10 yard line. Brewer kicked but the ball was blocked and rolled over the line. Rosengarten dropped on it for a touchdown. Suter failed to kick the goal and the score was 8 to 4 in Princeton's favor...

Borden decided to use Gonterman for several successive plays, but he failed to gain. Brewer had to punt. The kick was blocked, and this time Princeton had the ball on Harvard's 10 yard line. Bannard bucked the centre in vain, but on a double pass Suter circled Harvard's left end for a touchdown. The touchdown was made way over near the side line, so a kick-out was tried.
